Phoenix didn't take long to get to their apartment, opening the door to hers and stepping in, leaving it open for Naka. She had been here already two weeks. People around Konoha knew her, but a lot were deathly afraid of her for reasons only seen in her apartment. In the back, a whole wall was reserved for weapons only. The wall had several different blades, short and long. Besides them, there were whips and several others, even unknown.

On desks a couple yards from the wall were scrolls of different kinds, many of them medical. The rest were summoning and other kinds. But besides all of the special items, everything was organized mainly. The rest of the apartment was decorated in dark blue and red, taking a Japanese look throughout everything. She hadn't moved a bed in, but she slept on a small couch when she felt like it.

Naka walked into the apartment, slightly surprised. Who knew someone shy like Phoenix, had so many weapons? She looked at the ones that were mounted on the wall. Due to the 'training' she was given two years back, the evil-looking ones didn't even intimidate her anymore. She followed Phoenix, waiting for her to speak.

Phoenix softly set her bag in a corner next to more books, sections on more medical terms and others. A small corner had fictional books even, when she did find time to relax. She seemed to calm and grow more serious, no longer shy or tentative. Similar to when she was healing. She glanced back to Naka and gave her a brief smile, then pulled out a chair on a long white table for her. "You can relax for a minute....I'll get some things..." She had said softly, setting the vials on the table against some metal tools so they would stand and not fall. She turned and went around to the wall, disappearing from view through a small door for a moment

Naka sat down, taking out her notebook. She hurriedly scribbled down the notes about the poison. "Deadly...causes blindness...fatal...eats away chakra..." She was trying to remember all the details of the mission two years back...

Phoenix came back after a few minutes, setting down a closed box before she sat beside Naka. She glanced to her writing and took out her own notebook of her poison. She set it down then leaned back to wait softly for her. She showed to be extremely patient and calm most of the time, and her face was soft. She wanted to be able to help people a lot of the time.

Naka stopped writing and looked up at Phoenix and the box. "What now?"

Phoenix smiled a bit and picked up her vial first, opening the box and handed her a small white pill. "This is...something I developed...it keeps any kind of poison from affecting for a couple hours....in case of an accident..." she said softly, holding one out for her.

Naka took one and examined it closely. "...okay..." She swallowed it, scrunching up her nose. She never liked pills. "Lets get started. What's first?"

Phoenix smiled a bit to herself and took her own quickly. She looked forward to Naka's vial of poison then and took off the tight lid with practiced fingers. Sifting through the box, she held out an opal shaped disk with a small symbol carved in the middle, speaking softly. "Can you hold that up?"

Naka did as told, holding it steadily. She blocked out the images forming in her brain, images of the death. Instead she focused on Phoenix and the poison.

Phoenix softly shifted and let only a drop of the poison onto the symbol. The rest she poured into a very small glass beaker. During this, the symbol glowed dully as Phoenix's hand brushed the side, threading some chakra through the disk.

Naka knew she might never do this again memorised Phoenix's movements. She couldn't help herself from glancing at her poison. It had caused one of the biggest regrets in her life, and now she'd be able to win against it. Naka smiled, and watched closely.

Phoenix faintly smiled at Naka's look. She shifted and took her hand away from the disk when the drop seemed to vanish inside of it, and she shifted the beaker onto a white plate. Letting it start to heat and she took the disk with the symbol, setting it into a small glass box where the air was cut off. She looked back to Naka softly. "Can I see the symptoms of the poison...?"

"Oh, okay..." She handed Phoenix her notebook, where more than half had been used for that special poison. 'Deadly...Blindness...Chakra eaten away...Hallucinations...Attack of the senses...Near-death epiphany...Slit pupils...Painful if death is slow..."

Phoenix took it softly and scanned through it. She would frown briefly at times then nod at others before she handed the notebook back and stood. She handed her another disk, then the dark blue vial of poison. "Just put a drop on the symbol and let it sit in the next glass box." She said softly then set another beaker beside her. "Pour the rest in that..." She added, giving her a small smile then got up and moved to the back room again.
