A small snap and Nakashima and Phoenix appeared on a soft, sandy shore. The water lapped a couple feet from them and Phoenix rubbed her head, shifting her kimono sleeves.

Naka breathed in the salty sea air and grinned. She took off her shoes and rolled up her sleeves. The feeling of sand under her feet was strangely nice. "Osu! Time to train!"

Phoenix smiled a bit sheepishly, looking around and holding out a small bag to Naka. "For relaxing after..." She explained, showing the swimming suit and other items.

"Oh, okay! I guess I'll put it on now, since I'm gonna train walking on water." Naka stripped down to her underwear, showing her little child-build body. The only thing adult about her were her hips. She quickly slipped into the one-piece bathing suit, letting the material stick to her pale flesh. "Okay! Let's start!" Naka ran to the water, standing on a boulder in the slightly-deep area. She took a step on the water and fell in. Out of the blue water, she re-surfaced, climbing back onto the rock. "Nuuu! Not enough chakra! Again!" She tried again, this time managing to walk a few steps before sinking. "Again!" Though it was kind of annoying to fall into the water so much, it seemed kind of fun.

Phoenix watched softly then looked out on the water. Thoughts drifted in time with the waves before she shook her head and did a small jutsu before taking off her kimono. Her entire body was elegant and built, a marble pale texture all through completely. She had hid her scars with her jutsu as she put on something like a white and blue bikini. The unnaturally pale female walking over to the rock to watch Naka contently.

"Once again! Osu!" Naka got onto all fours, supported by chakra. She started to get off her hands and kneel. Then, she stood up, wobbling. She took a few timid, unsteady steps, the water moving around her feet. Naka took a few step toward the mainland, sunk half an inch, and re-did the same steps.

Phoenix smiled a bit, watching and vaguely mumbling hints to her hearing as she stood on the water by the rock contently, the water softly rippling around her feet with the body and chakra's vibrations. She was glad to help, and the warmth against her pale skin felt really quite good.

Naka got up from the water and concentrated her chakra again. The chakra in her flowed to her feet, and the water under them moved out in circular waves. "One, two, three..." Naka walked around, counting her steps. "...sixteen, sev -" She fell in again, her body shivering from the contact. The plain, purple swimsuit she was wearing stuck to her, in every crevice and to every curve. A small, husky chuckle was heard in the back of Naka's head, but she didn't care. Probably just a hallucination. Naka got up again, and walked on the water, swinging her arms like a robot.

Phoenix smiled as she watched, a thoughtful look creased her elegant face, small droplets of water trailing down her face from the splashes. She walked over to Naka at another fall and held out her hand, deciding to try something. "Try standing on one place....can time you and see how you improve each time..." She smiled, pale body glistening in its every curve and bend as the water rippled around her feet.

"Good idea!" Naka stood, her feet on the water surface. Her hands were in the air in a victory pose. Soon she began sweating with the strain of the chakra control. The voice spoke to her, rough and husky, encouraging (or threatening) her to keep going on. '...don't make me get you...you'd better stay up...'

Phoenix watched her softly, unlike the voice, her eyes were the same, but there was no hint of a threat at all, only a soft encouragement. She was only rough and threatening with somebody she didn't know very well, or when she was truly frustrated. The numbers flicked through her head as easy as her breath came. She kept her hands at her sides but shifted, self conscious gone with Naka as her form was more pronounced.

One of her feet sunk in an inch, but Naka pulled it out and continued standing in her rigid pose. The voice in her head snarled again, and she faltered for a moment. Naka was shaking, getting tired. She felt something brush her side and fell. "Coooold!" She got onto the boulder, holding the area touched. "So, Phoenix-san, how long did I last...?"

Phoenix gently smiled when she ended and strode over to the boulder. She hopped up and pulled her up next to her, rubbing her head. "Three minutes twenty seven seconds..." She answered lightly and looked to Naka, a more specifically at her side. "You okay?"

"Oh yeah!" She grinned and jumped onto the boulder. "I'm fine." Naka stopped touching her side. Were her hallucinations getting wilder and more...authentic? She flexed and stretched her muscles for a while before jumping on top of the water. This time, something cold touched her hip.

Phoenix watched softly and moved down with her, before blinking when she saw a small flash near her hip. Her lip twitched and she stood by Naka and moved around. "What does your hip feel like...?" she asked quietly.
