Naka purred, liking the warmth on her side. Though she had met Phoenix only recently, she felt herself wanting to know more of her. She didn't have enough time to get to know her master, and regretted it. Phoenix was so quiet, so gentle at times, that Naka was afraid she was annoyed by her. True, Naka was usually hyper and high, but it was just to reflect her feelings. Anyone could read her like a book, and she didn't mind. She wanted people to know what she felt. And right now, she felt happy to be with Phoenix. Minutes ticked by, and it was eleven o'clock.

Phoenix's gaze was an odd soft as she watched her now, the slitted eyes calm and almost lighter. They flickered to the clock, sighing softly at the time before she glanced outside. Konoha's lights were a soft glow outside her dull window. She was reminded how hard the world was, and it was difficult for her to look on the brighter side of trouble and pain. The rare people she cared about, were attacked, exactly how her dad had tried to kill Naka. Others reversed her worry into pain.

She tried to stop thinking about it by curling her head, looking up at Naka as her head lay on the bed. Like how a dog would look up at a human, her look was the same beside the exotic scales.

Naka let a yawn slip out her mouth, and she rubbed her eyes again. She peeked at Phoenix, pretending to rest. A small smile appeared on her lips and she moved closer to the dragon, if possible. Phoenix was a great friend, and Naka was glad she had met her... More time passed...

Phoenix softly shivered as she did, seeming to relax more. Both girls rested for a time, the dragon, off of some rush, kept any chakra besides hers and her own from coming near her. She was powerful enough, she was a demon, and she held two other extremely powerful demons. Both she had only recently learned how to control. By the time Phoenix lifted her head, it was 2 in the morning, and she glanced around.

Naka sat up, feeling hot. After resting with Phoenix for so long, the heat had rubbed off on her. She wiped the sweat off her brow, huffing a bit. The time was already 2am. Phoenix seemed to be awake as well, so Naka pretended to go to sleep again.

Phoenix glanced a bit to Naka as she pretended, her eye line raised and she softly loosened around Naka. With a little push of chakra, her body heat lightened to only a soft warmth and she looked back around for awhile.

Her eyelids drooped and felt surprisingly heavy. Naka's head bobbed up and down, fighting sleep. Sleep won. She passed out, her cheek pressed against Phoenix's scales once again. Without knowing, Naka clutched at Phoenix, almost hugging her. She softly began to snore, and hours passed by...

Phoenix blinked softly at the smaller girl clung to her sunset shaded scales. Her dragonic face softened then lowered to rest hesitantly on her back, her paw shifting around her side in a way that was like hugging back. She let herself doze off briefly then, keeping any kind of chakra, whatsoever to go near Naka for those hours.

A sharp jolt to Naka's neck woke her up. There was a rooster's call, and the back of her neck froze. She moved her head around, popping the sore neck bones. 'Ah, Danna-sama always did hate morning calls...' She sat up, letting go of Phoenix. Orange sunlight slowly seeped through the window, lighting up the room. Naka got up, stretching her limbs. "...Aiden..." Another dream of Aiden last night... Naka looked over at Phoenix, and smiled. "Phoenix-san, you all rested?"

Phoenix's tail simply twitched at the call, her head turned from the window, the scales glittering and her form like that of an intricately carved statue. Her head lowered at Aiden's name before she shifted, nodding a bit to Naka's question before she changed her form slightly. Taking a more human like structure, but she still carried a tail, her wings, the elongated face. Having simply taken an anthropomorphic form, she stood slowly and stretched, several bones snapping into place.

(ooc: sorry I left! T.T will be on again in 5 hours, maybe a bit more ^^)

"Great! Now we-" Her sentence was interrupted as something growled in the room. Naka clutched her stomach, looking embarrassed. "Ahaha...I haven't eaten yet..." She laughed nervously, keeping her head down.

Phoenix couldn't help a smile as she explained and she shook her dragonic head, smiling as she led out of the room, into a small kitchen where she pulled out some makings for breakfast. The only thing really bringing her down, was that she might have to leave in a few days.

"Yay! Breakfast!" Naka followed Phoenix into the kitchen, and plopped onto one of the chairs, fork and knife in hand. She waited obediently like a little puppy, smiling like she always did. "Give me your best shot, Phoenix-san!"

Phoenix's mood lifted at the sight and she smiled. She set up making several things before setting a large plate in front of her. The typical breakfast of eggs, bacon, toast, etc... had extra's like bagels and several other things in a matter of moments.

((ooc: hoooome @.@))

Naka would have glomped Phoenix if she weren't so hungry. "Thank chuuuu!" She smiled in bliss as the food enter her mouth. It was the best breakfast she had ever had. Her cooking was never any good, either being under-cooked or over. Aiden never ate, so he wasn't any good, and Goru was too young...

"Thank chuuu, Phoenix-san!" Naka wolfed down as much as she could, but finished only half of it all when she felt her shirt getting tight.
