"Oh, I'll watch!" Any experience was a good experience. Naka sat down across the room, a notebook and pencil in hand. She watched with full concentration, clearing her mind of unnecessary thoughts.

Phoenix softly blinked her hazel eyes and smiled again faintly. Unlike her shy outlook towards people, she was the full leader in training and healing. She checked on the chuunin after the nurse left, them having been caught in an ambush while on a mission. She threaded her hand over their chest, seeming to pierce in with chakra and removed a nonfatal poison with ease. She then put the poison away in a number of containers before holding her hands over the gash, closing the wound quickly but thoroughly. She healed a few others then bandaged the rest, sighing softly as she got some medicine then, filtering it then tilted the boys head up to slip it through his lips.

His body relaxed soon after and she pulled a white blanket up over him. She checked something off on a list then sighed heavily. A faint showing that she was exhausted before she his it behind a mask and walked over to her desk, putting a few books away then picked up a vial of blue liquid. Being the poison she wanted to work on, she held it in a pouch on her arm then turned around.

Naka watched Phoenix heal the patient's wounds and make him drink something. She noted down how to transfer the chakra, and compared it to her style. Phoenix was a much better medic nin than she was, so it was good to learn. Naka watched her take out a vial, the liquid inside it blue.

Phoenix continued to pick up a few things, the nurse coming in and taking the chuunin out to another room. The female looked back to Naka and smiled faintly. It was only just starting into the evening, but she was exhausted, she just didn't show it. "I'm done...sorry, not much of a show..."

"It's okay! A little is better than nothing!" Naka got up and put away her notebook. Then she looked at the vial with the blue substance. "What's that?"

Phoenix looked back to the vial and rubbed her head. "The poison I have to work on..." she answered softly, putting it in her pouch. Getting a small thought, she looked to Naka and tilted her head. "do you have a poison you want to try and learn about?"

In an instant, Naka took out the tube she kept. It was small, and contained a bit of green and purple liquid. It was more like semi-liquid, with black chunks floating in the substance. "Yes!" It was the poison that had killed her master...

Phoenix looked at it curiously, more or so focusing on the black chunks. She nodded after a bit and smiled almost weakly. "I can help you with it tonight..." It was obvious she had no plan of sleeping at all. If one had seen how long it took to understand an unknown poison, two even, it took long hours, even for a ninja like her. She walked back over to Naka, putting the book she had let her see on top of her others then rubbed her head. "My apartment isn't that far from yours, so if you have to go home, feel free..."

"No, it's okay! I want to find the antidote of this..." She handed Phoenix the tube. Naka was determined now. Phoenix might just help her identify the poison that had beaten her.

Phoenix took the tube and softly held it up to the light. Her own emerald green and amber eyes studying it and she nodded softly before putting it with her other one gently. She gave her an almost reassuring smile before leading the way out of the hospital. The sun just barely starting to set.

Naka followed Phoenix, her goal set. She would find out what the poison was, no matter what. The sun was painting the clouds an orange tinge, and it would be dark soon...
