The build up of chakra glowed briefly and the female sighed when she lowered her hands, a ninja's breath filling their chest again once more. She muttered softly to herself and set a small thimble of poison to the side that she would study later. She was tired, having worked for a number of hours.
She watched her patient moved to another room then set down, rubbing her hands absently as she set her head back against a wall.

Naka wandered into the room, watching the shadows on the floor. She didn't notice where she was going until she bumped into a wall and fell onto her back. "Ow..." She got up and looked around. There was a nin resting her head on the wall, looking tired and worn. "Ah! Sorry for intruding."

Phoenix shivered and looked up as she walked in, she blinked and shook her head, smiling faintly. "Its okay...I just finished..." She stated quietly, sitting up straight again and rubbed her head. "Do you...need anything?"

"...hm..." Naka thought over what she said. Wait, why was she even here? "No, not really. But I guess I'm just trying to find some medic jutsu to study." She grinned sheepishly.

Phoenix seemed to smile faintly and stood up. She thought a bit then rubbed her head. "I have a couple books you can borrow..." She said quietly, picking up a medium sized silk bag. "If you need, I can also provide some examples of them as well..."

"Really? Thank you!" Naka hopped happily over to Phoenix, a big smile on her face. "My name's Nakashima Kuroda! Nice to meet you!"

Phoenix couldn't help a small smile and nodded, rubbing her head tentatively as she came over. She pulled out a slightly thick book on slightly advanced healing and held it out to her. "If you want me to show you anything, you can just ask...I'm here for awhile..."

"Wow, that's big. Mine's tiny..." Naka opened the book, reading the contents with awe. "All I've learned are the basics, and a bit of advanced..."

Phoenix smiled again slightly at her and softly shifted her hand to the pages, shifting to basic pages that slowly led to more advanced. "I have some smaller ones..."

"Thank goodness." Naka read the list of medic jutsu. "Um...Is there any good poison- antidotes? Ones that...um...work well on A-rank poison?" Naka blushed as she said this. She had learned almost every single poison jutsu, hoping to avoid her past mistakes...

Phoenix seemed to focus on her for a second before rubbing her arm. She glanced to her desk in the corner then back to her. "I have a special book on some...and I'm writing my own....I have a new unknown poison to work on as well tonight..."

"C-can I help? T-that is, if you don't mind." There was a pinkish tinge on her cheeks as she thought about poison. Since two years ago, she had been obsessed with them and their antidotes.

Phoenix tilted her head again, her long waist length hair tied back so it fell over her shoulder briefly. A faint smile flicked over her face and she turned around. "I can tell its important to you....and I probably need some help....so if you'd like, you can..."

"T-thank you!" Naka smiled happily, the blush spreading further. Maybe, just maybe, she could find the antidote for the old poison...She still had it in a tube she carried everywhere...

Phoenix seemed to study her expression then looked up as a nurse came in, followed by a stretcher with an injured chuunin. She looked to Naka again and rubbed her head. "I'll be done after this...you can wait if you'd like, I'll be heading to my apartment with the poison when I am...you can watch even if you'd like..."
